Weight loss struggles post partum

I’m 4 month post partum and gained quite a bit of weight throughout my pregnancy. Every day I think about my weight and what I’m going to do to lose it but when I’ve had a really difficult day with baby it can be hard to prepare meals that are healthy and sometimes easier to go for the quick fix. Also not going to lie but by the evening junk food often becomes a comfort (like a reward lol). I really hate how I look in my clothes more though and would like to work at getting to my old weight.
Any tips or similar experience?

I think I’ve accepted that it’s not going to come off for a good few months yet as she’s now teething and has never been a baby who stays asleep for long periods during the day without being held and I’m always just exhausted keeping up with house chores and the baby.
p.s. if you could share that would be much appreciated

I use the guides from Wild Mama: wild-mama.co.uk/ There's a free one and then a couple of paid ones.

My son is now 18 months old, and I still do the guide 2-3 times per week, obviously easier as I'm back at work and he's in nursery, so I do get some time to myself, but this was great as it was manageable during a nap!
