Workouts PP

Hi all,
I’m 4 months postpartum (breastfeeding) and feeling like I need to build up strength again — especially core, arms and general tone. Did a bit of yoga/cat-cows etc in pregnancy but haven’t really done much since giving birth, and alongside some weight gain I just want to feel stronger and ready for normal life again!
Im new to it all so just a little 30 min a day or something I can work out around baby .

Ideally looking for:

  • A gentle but progressive postpartum workout plan
  • Something that’s safe for core and pelvic floor recovery
  • Equipment that pairs well with it — nothing huge or wrecking the living room, easy storage

Would love recommendations for workout programmes/apps/videos that are postnatal-specific, plus a bit of kit that’s worth the money!
Do I even need pp workouts or just a daily workout thing would be good .
Thanks 😊

There is someone I came across on You Tube recently. The channel is called 'Mommy Tummy Fix' and her workouts are specifically for after pregnancy and birth.

I haven't just had a baby but needed something gentle for my core due to health reasons and have found them to be good.

I used The Bump Plan after the birth of my daughter. It's pilates based and you progress through stages of the programme when you're ready. It's a monthly subscription and not the cheapest, but great for building strength safely and rehabbing core and pelvic floor. I used it for a few months before returning to the kind of 'normal' exercise I did pre pregnancy.

I’ll add one more option into the mix, based on my own recovery, from Wild Mama: https://wild-mama.co.uk/
I used their guides that focus on rebuilding from the inside out – deep core, pelvic floor, and then gradually adding weights/resistance. They’re designed to be done at home in short sessions, which worked well for me around a baby.
There’s a free foundations guide, and then a few low-cost follow-ons if you want more structure as you progress. I found having something laid out step by step really helpful when I didn’t have the headspace to plan workouts.

Thank you so much for that , sounds great 😊
really appreciate all the recommendations 😊
