Suggestions for belly binders after c section

I’m having my first baby in January via c section. I’d like a belly binder to offer support after the c section, and then another waist trainer once I’ve healed to get my waistline back.

Can anyone recommend any particular binders for each stage of recovery? Have you used anything good?

Be really careful with this. The extra pressure of a binder coupled with a weakened pelvic floor from pregnancy (regardless of delivery being c sec or vaginal) can cause pelvic prolapses. I would avoid completely.

I’ve got the Frida Mom one…worn it twice. I don’t think it’s doing anything, and I agree with the PP who said it might cause more harm than good

I was warned off using any such things by the hospital physio following my csection- apparently they lead to more trouble than not.

Your abdominal muscles need to be able to use themselves in order to strengthen up.

Seriously research binders before you consider it.

I don’t think either of those will work on a potential c-section pouch… just giving you heads up recovery may not be as successful as you are hoping.
