Did anyone have these symptoms postpartum?

Feeling really cold whilst everyone else feels warm.

Aching muscles

Feeling exhausted to the point you can't drive far (babies are sleeping 7-8 hours a night now) and I feel more exhausted than in the early days when they were making every 2 hours.

Dry skin

Could this be something or is this normal?

You should see your GP for advice.

You don't say how long postpartum you are but if your babies (twins?) are sleeping 7 - 8 hrs, perhaps they are 5 - 6mos or more?

In the first weeks after DD1 was born, I had a virus = fever, chills, etc. but it was just a virus and passed quickly. After DD2 was born, I had plenty of issues but all directly related to birth.

@tarheelbaby Hi, sorry yes twins and they're 13 weeks. They sleep well, I have checked if their sleeping is normal as they're young with my health visitor and she said they're putting weight on so its fine to leave them sleep. I do have postpartum anxiety as well. Was just wondering if other mums felt the same or there could be something underlying.

Congratuations on your DTwins! Also congratulations that they are sleeping so well! Giving birth and caring for an infant can really take it out of you, much less coping with two infants.
Do see a GP about your own symptoms to check for a thyroid issue or anaemia or some such (I'm not a doctor but friends with similar symptoms have had these diagnosed).

I have a 16 weeks old and have some of these.

tiredness is accumulative. In the early days you’re still on adrenaline and when that dies down the tiredness can hit. With both my children this has hit around 3 months each time.

With feeling cold, I always feel cold to the point of not being able to warm up when I’m tired. Sometimes I know I’m overtired because I just feel cold when I shouldn’t.

are you breast feeding? If so it is so so important to stay hydrated. This will help dryness and feeling so tired
