I had a c-section 6 weeks ago and have now been cleared by my GP to resume all normal activities. Breastfeeding has helped me shift the weight I put on during pregnancy but I'm aware that my stomach still has a little 'bump' and I definitely have a small overhang or pooch above my scar. My lower stomach still feels a little tender and swollen too. None of this really matters in the wider space of things and I know I'm very lucky to be making a good recovery but I would like to do what I can to minimise the above and I was wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks or experiences they could share? I've seen postpartum waist belts/trainers advertised online and thought this might be good for supporting my core and encouraging things to return to the correct shape! I've also heard that massage can be really effective. Thanks all!
