Uterus not contracted 3 weeks PP

I am 3 weeks and 2 days postpartum with baby number 5. No PPH but I did bleed heavily and ended up with an oxytocin drip as my uterus wasn't contracting. Last Friday I had a midwife appointment and she was concerned it was still high (about an inch below bellybutton) and was uncomfortable when she was pressing.
Went back today, saw a different midwife. Uterus is about the same place, she said it was slightly higher than they would expect but it's baby number 5 and just pulled a face as if to say it's to be expected.
Everything I've read says my uterus should be back in my pelvis so I'm a bit worried why it doesn't seem to be shrinking. No signs of infection or pain, still bleeding but not heavily (and I've always bled for weeks post partum) which is a good sign obviously. My placenta was 'ragged' when it delivered, i had a large clot around 3 days PP which I thought was a piece of placenta but was assured it was a clot from sending a photo to midwife.
Do I need to ask a second opinion, or is it likely that it is just going to take longer to shrink back? Thanks in advance!

I’d be wanting a swab done at least, possibly a scan for retained products too.

I don't want to be a pain, but also if there's a reason that it isn't contracting then obviously I'd like it sorting! Also fed up of still looking pregnant! I'm not sure who to ask as they signed me off! I am seeing a health visitor next week so may ask them. Thank you!

You can always go back to the GP if you’re concerned.
