C section tummy

NC for this as i find it embarrassing

I'm nearly 3 weeks post c section and whilst I know it's very soon after I'm really hating my belly overhang.

Before baby I was a size 14/16 so not the smallest anyway and I have always had a bit of a tummy but now it's awful.

I'm exercising as much as I can at the moment but wondering will this go down or is it going to stay as I'm not the smallest anyway. 😬

Mine went completely. Took about 6 months IIRC. You do have to work at it though.

Don’t work at it yet! Give it chance to heal! It does get better as it heal and weight is lost. Unfortunately if you gain any weight it does look bad again.

I don’t think you should be exercising 3 weeks post section! Give your body a chance to heal!

@monpetitlapin Thank you. I really hope it goes, even a little bit 😬. Do you mind if I ask if you're small anyway for it to go completely?

@Autumn1990 Thanks! I'm not doing anything to strenuous just out walking daily. Just the reassurance that it will get better makes me feel more relaxed.

It will improve a lot. You’re only 3 weeks post c section which is very early days. Please take care to rest for now as you are still healing. Take care.
