64 week wait

Gp referred me for a prolapse (currently 8 weeks post birth) and I was told today on the phone it would be a 64 week wait for an urgent referral. If anyone has any tips or experience of dealing with a prolapse as I don't want it to get any worse. Or of a different route I could take that won't cost a fortune. Doing my pelvic floor but doesn't seem to be helping.

Make sure you’re doing pelvic floor exercises correctly, you can buy an educator online for £10/15.
Whenever you lift do your squeezes, exhale before you squeeze and don’t hold your breath.
If you have Instagram, follow Clarebornephysio she has some videos of how to do it, might be worth trying to get one appointment with a private women’s health physio probably between £50-£70.
also, hypopressiveswithalice who helps too with videos for deep breathing.

Also 8 weeks is very early and everything still getting back to normal.

All of what @Frankie789 has said. It is super early days so be kind to yourself, things are still settling and recovering. If you can stretch to a private pelvic health appointment they are a great investment, but appreciate this is a luxury not available to all- the mummy MOTs are pretty comprehensive and will also assess for diastasis and give you some gentle rehab exercises. There is a huge pelvic/women’s health community on Instagram that give some great tips and resources too!
