Blood thinner injections

I had a C-section 10 months ago now so I know it's pretty late asking but it's just something that's just come to mind.
I took blood thinners injections for 6 weeks after Cs and I took them like said but I took them while standing up.
Someone else I know have been taken them recently takes has been taken them sitting down, and made me wonder so searched up and says to be sitting down.
No one told me this and wondering if I have done it wrong and have caused damage in some sort of way in the long term like cause c section scar to not heal properly and so and so.
Thank you.

It won’t make any physiological difference or affect how the thinner is absorbed by the body, it’s just easier to pinch flesh, look down to see what you are doing and means you are less likely to flinch & jerk the needle out and/or faint or fall over & hurt yourself.

I had them too and I took them standing up, sitting down, lying down - no one told me any different and all the ones I had in hospital were when I was lying down so I wouldn’t worry x

Why on earth would it make a difference!

I’m a midwife, genuinely never heard of this, can’t see it would make a difference. It certainly would not affect the scar. Probably says that so people don’t faint while stood up and injecting? 🤷‍♀️

I took Heparin my entire pregnancy, basically I could inject it in whatever position I wanted to.

I was always. Lying down. Don't think it matters. If it did we'd be told
