Rectal fullness 10m PP

Hey everyone, first time posting on here!

Very long story kinda short, had my little boy 10 months ago now. Natural labour all fine but suffered some almighty tears (everywhere but my perineum, but hey ho.) recovery was going okay, the odd bout of constipation and piles but cleared up in time.

5 months in I had severe abdominal pain - which was misdiagnosed for almost 2 weeks as constipation, but was actually appendicitis! Fun! so my appendix ruptured, I had peritonitis and had to have emergency surgery and stay in hospital for a week. I still haven’t recovered 5 months later as I’m still having lots of pains, however I figure my body may just need more time.

The reason I’ve come on here today is im searching for alternative answers possibly related to PP. Post surgery I had this major feeling of pressure in my pelvis/rectum every time I went for a wee or poop. Surgeons said this is normal (I was straining to go A LOT!) and it did fade with time. However, randomly in mid February I started with this constant feeling of fullness in the rectum, like something is lodged in there and I never feel empty. I panicked and went to A&E but they sent me away with laxatives. It’s now almost 3 months on and the feeling is still there!!!!

I’ve had 3 CT scans, an ultrasound of my abdomen and even a sigmoidoscopy which just found haemorrhoids/piles, everything else appeared normal.

I’m wondering now if this feeling is more of a pelvic floor issue? I suppose I am only 10mo PP despite all the added stuff that happened. Just wondering if anyone here experienced this similar feeling of fullness/pressure post partum and if so, did it go away? If so any advice?

trying to increase fibre and stay hydrated as poops are still like rocks despite everything 😅

thanks ☺️
