I Hate my body since giving birth to my 3rd dd 5 weeks ago. I can't help but feel down I've got a saggy overhanging stomach and nothing nice fits me
I feel like a big frumpy beach whale with My whole wardrobe that doesn't fit.
I went from a size 14-16 to between 18-20 depending on shop. I can't stop eating sweets either it's numbs the pain of feeling down but then I feel terrible later.
I don't know where to turn to 😭.

Please give yourself a break. Newborns are hard work and so tiring. You’ve done so much, cut yourself a bit of slack.

Thank-you its been exhausting its getting slightly better I'm getting more sleep these days. I seem to have lost my identity again since having another baby.
I don't feel like myself with the extra weight and stuff she was a big baby 9lb 2oz so does sort of explain the massive weight gain. It's getting clothes and bras to fit well that is the problem I feel so frumpy.

5 weeks is a very short time after having a baby, your tummy will continue to shrink over the next weeks/months. Be kind to yourself

Not much advice but solidarity! I'm in the same boat - baby is also 5 weeks old and I gained 4 stone over this pregnancy (and was already a little bit overweight) - it's so hard! I'm trying to focus on some little ways to feel better - I've had my brows done and have a haircut booked in. Not sure what to do about clothes - usually I have an hourglass shape and now I have a massive belly and a sore tummy from my c section which rules out even my maternity jeans!

Be kind to yourself! It's hard though and I'm feeling the same. Im 5 months post partum and 3.5 stone heavier than I was before pregnancy. I went from a size 10 to a size 16-18 however my body has changed shape so much that nothing I try even at my new size actually fits properly Everything looks so ill fitting and odd on me no matter the size I try. I have nothing to wear and it is getting me down because I used to be really into fashion & clothes.
I somehow gained weight after birth so I actually weigh more now than I did 9 months pregnant haha.
Oh, I also just found out I'm pregnant again so not going to drive myself crazy obsessing about my weight and just try get back to "normality" next year 😂🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Completely sympathise with this. Also went from a size 16 to 18/20 after birth. Only 7 weeks pp but because I feel almost back to myself it’s hard to see my body has changed this way. I never loved my body before, but I now look back and wish for that body again.

This week I’ve started to try and cut out the snacks, or swap to healthier options. Not being overly strict as otherwise I know I’ll binge after a few days. It’s super tough not to hate on yourself but keep reminding yourself it’s still early days.

Just a general question; I had my children years ago, but at every pre-natal visit you were weighed. Doesn't that happen anymore? I keep reading about mothers who can't lose 'baby weight', and who have seemed to put on several stone.
