9 weeks pp- almost immobile with pain

I’m 9wpp, 3rd baby, 1st csection (so new to pp life after a section).

I had terrible SPD with pregnancy (my largest baby) resulting in me being on crutches, csection delivery at 38+4 with forceps because he was so wedged in my pelvis. I’m still in (sometimes excruciating) pain in my pelvis, it feels like a vice is in between my pelvis sometimes (especially after I’ve slept). My husband has to help me out of bed otherwise it takes me atleast 5 minutes just to get to the edge of the bed.

Anyone else? I’m still passing really small white/yellow sinue/tissue like clots every now and then and intermittently bleeding but not feeling unwell or have discharge.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.

All my babies ended up as c-sections and no, never experienced anything like that. Have you had a proper examination since the birth? I'd be speaking to the GP tbh.

Please contact your GP / midwife, this doesn't sound right at all.

Hi, I had my 8 week check but it basically consisted of asking me what contraceptive I’ll be using, my mood briefly and a full check of baby then vaccines and that was it. I’ve been referred to gynae physio but waiting list is ridiculously long. Midwives have discharged me because I’m past 28 days pp, HV has just said to prompt GP again, so I’ve got an appointment tomorrow to see them.

I’m just at my wits end because it isn’t getting better Blush

@3rdtimemama3 that's rough. I'm not sure why 8 week check ups seem to be focused more on contraception than actual pp recovery! I had a large painful lump about 4 weeks after my cs with son, couldn't move without being in pain and was breezily told it was a big blood clot! Oh that's ok then... Confused

I'm glad you're seeing the GP, hopefully they'll get you sorted out asap.

You must seek medical advice about this.
