Hello,

I just wondered if anyone has had issues with aching lower leg pain after birth? I had my baby 5 months ago and my lower legs feel crampy but no massage, exercise or stretching helps. Is this normal, does it go away?

Thanks

@chocsaucestrawb Hey! Everything is fine for me now but did take 14 months to go away, the doctor & physio couldn't explain why this was happening either 😫hopefully you don't suffer this amount of time as it's horrendous 😣

Hey, I know this is an old thread but just hoping for an answer. I’m experiencing the same thing 6 months pp and im terrified that I have something seriously wrong. I have numb/tingling feet/ legs since 8 weeks pp. did anything help you? x

MB58 · 31/12/2022 20:43

@SB1990 Hello, unfortunately not, it just suddenly went away after 14 months and I haven't had any bother since! This all happened for me during lockdown so my GP wouldn't really see me, only telephone consultations. You should make an appointment to see your GP to see what they say, good luck and let me know how you get on please! 🤗

I still have this ! Bubs is 5.5 months so annoying
My GP thinks I'm
A hypochondriac I'm sure ! I feel achey and just generally yuck x

Wow, thank you for replying ♥️ I’ve seen 3 neuros and had an mri and everything’s come back fine. I keep being told that it’s anxiety but I’m finding that really hard to believe. I struggle with health anxiety and these tingling sensations are driving me nuts x

MB58 · 01/01/2023 00:27

@strawberrysummer19 I'm pretty sure my doctor thought the same about me! The constant ache was horrendous!

@SB1990 that's good your MRI came back fine but still frustrating for you to have this, I always feel the doctors always tend to say things are related to anxiety when they know someone struggles with that! I hated the tingling sensation aswell and at times I couldn't feel my feet and would slam them down when walking...it was horrible, very worrying but with time mine just went and I'm thankful it's not returned! I hope things don't last long for you and that it passes like mine 🙏. Happy new year too 😊

MB58 · 01/01/2023 08:39

@SB1990 mine started about 4 weeks after I gave birth 😖

What symptoms do you have? Have you seen any drs etc? x so baffling isn’t it.

Hi, is this normal 2 months postpartum? I've been experiencing body aches for a while now, particularly in my lower legs... sometimes it has woke me up through the night and in the morning my ankles and knees are very stiff. I also get aches in my arms and cannot lean back on my left hand due to pain in my wrist. I had a baby 2 months ago and I have been exclusively breastfeeding. I am also on pregnacare breastfeeding vitamins and I drink a lot of milk. Just don't understand why I am always in discomfort with my body, feel like my body is failing me.
