So down about prolapse

I had my daughter 14 months ago now (awful birth, 80hr labour, forceps, 3rd degree tear) and was left with a mild bladder prolapse although I’m not sure I was examined properly. Anyway, I saw a NHS women's health physio a few times who basically just checked my pelvic floor strength and that I was doing pelvic floors correctly. I go through phases where I do them religiously for weeks and no improvement so I end up giving up, though I have been using a Kegal 8 twice daily for the past 6 weeks and still no inprovement.
I feel so uncomfortable with it esp after my period and before ovulation its all I can focus on, it just feels all swollen and heavy down there. I feel like if things were going to get any better then they would by now and hate the thought that this will be it (and probably get worse) forever. It puts me off doing things that I used to love doing, long walks, even sex. Sad

I have no experience but did do a few classes of a specific pelvic floor excercise by a lady called Justine Sipprell. There were a few ladies with diastis recti and prolapses which this seemed to really help with. Much more detailed than normal pelvic floor kegels: Hypopressive exercises

There were Pilates teachers on the course whose eyes were opened and that they had been teaching the pelvic floor excerises all wrong. Worth a try, I thought she was excellent.

Looks like she's doing zoom classes too.
