Tongue tie dummy recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good pacifier for baby with tongue tie?

Baby doesn’t latch well which makes it hard to comfort her when she’s upset etc. We have managed to get her to take bottles for feeding and still trying with the BF but would like to be able to use a dummy to calm her down. We have been trying the nipple-like Tommee Tippee design but it doesn’t work, she just can’t seem to keep it in her mouth.

Any recommendations?

My son had a tongue tie, which he had snipped at 4 weeks. He wouldn’t take a dummy, we even tried the tommee tippee nipple like ones. Even after his tie was snipped he just wasn’t interested. I know it would be easier if he would & would soothe himself with it. I guess some babies just aren’t that fussed on a dummy.

@Johnson10 yeah I can’t decide whether it’s the Tongue tie or her just not wanting it, but she does seem to want comfort between her bottles. The nipple like ones haven’t worked for us at all either but I guess they wouldn’t if they have problems latching.

Are they going to snip her tongue tie? Push for it. My son is a different baby since his.

Both my children were born with tongue ties and took Mam soothers and bottles very well. DS1 had a particularly bad one and we got it cut. Will likely do the same for DS2 (2 weeks old).
