Epidural nerve problems?

Slightly long post- Has anyone had what I can only say is nerve problems since having an epidural?
I gave birth 3 months ago and had the epidural, ever since my legs have been weak and jelly like, like that feeling when you're starving and everything feels shaky and weak, but just in my legs. However, it's progressively gotten worse, and today I stood up whilst holding my baby. I was fine for a good minute or so but all of a sudden my legs went like jelly and then I couldn't feel them. I nearly fell backwards, meaning I would've fell onto the coffee table and then toppled backwards off it, managed to use what little strength I had to stop myself, then I nearly fell onto the side I was holding my baby on, used the only strength I had left that I didn't think I had to stop myself. I then fell the other way, landed on his baby swing, luckily my mum grabbed him then and I fell onto the floor. I don't know why this is happening but I really can't help it! My iron levels are fine, I'm not hungry, I eat enough and have a good appetite, does anyone know why this could be happening? Asked about the weakness at my 6week postnatal and was fobbed off and rushed about it, she didn't even check my legs or anything didn't even look at them just said they're fine nothing wrong with them. But clearly there is as they're getting worse and they're getting worse fast!! The other day I fell backwards whilst crouched too! I'm ringing the doctors again tomorrow to get an emergency appointment as they had none today but does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance
