Ughhhhh this weather!!!!

My partner and I have a 1 bedroom flat. We are moving at the end of the year as my DD is fine in our room for now but will need her own room by next year. We have completely done the place up since buying it but everywheres getting ruined from damp and mould! I am bleaching everything every few days as the damp keeps coming through.
We have a dehumidifier we put on every night and this helps with wet windows and things but it's a nightmare!
Hope the next place we buy is better insulated for my daughter's sake! Not good for health to have mould and damp.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so what do you do to help it?

Have you had a damp proof course done? Do you open windows to ventilate? If it’s in a specific place there could be a leak somewhere or rising damp.

Make sure you open the window after showering / leave on the extractor fan until the steam has all gone. Use the fan over the cooker everytime you cook. Remember that drying washing on the radiator will add moisture to your house so again ventilate if you can. You can buy a karcher window vac and use that daily to remove water from the inside of your windows. If you're still getting mould after that it's likely structural / rising damp in your home that needs looking at.
