Exercising at home

Hi all
Has anyone any recommendations for exercise dvds or similar which could be done at home? I used to do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred occasionally... but post c-section my stomach couldn't manage that yet! Looking for something I could go regularly though to get me back going and feeling better about myself

Thanks!

Have you tried any workout apps on your phone? I downloaded "workout for women" had a free trial and ended up buying it (think it was £35 for the year) I used to pay £40pm for the gym and with a LO myself I know I'd struggle to make it there now!

I'd recommend that app though, it has different levels and lots of different works out too.

There are free ones on YouTube though, I remember using 8 minute abs (definitely not ideal for you at the moment!) but I'm sure there's different work outs on their YouTube channel.

Congrats on your LO & hope you make a speedy recovery Grin

I did Joe Wicks videos - he has lots of low impact/beginner workouts on YouTube. Free and generally only 20 mins or so so easier to fit in around the baby!

@VioletVerity @RMarieClaire both suggestions great - thanks so much. Will try the app trial and have a good look at Joe Wicks

I didn't know if there were postnatal specific workouts but they seem hard to find so low impact may be the best way to go

I opted for the low impact and moderated any crunches etc. it's hiit so easy to tweak to your needs.
There's also something called Carifit, where you carry your baby and work out. I found it great at first when she slept all the time but stopped around 3 months when her naps became longer and a bit more structured
