Diastasis Recti - Physio referral / personal trainer

Hi there!

Has anyone been referred to physio for Diastasis Recti? I went to see my GP about it yesterday and she said she thinks it's very unlikely I would get seen and the referral is likely to bounce. She recommended me a personal trainer though. £450 for ten sessions- pretty expensive.

Has anyone found physio helpful? Or is it better to go down the PT route??

Also, does anyone have any PT recommendations for north London?

Thanks!
Susan :)

Highly recommend finding a trainer who is really experienced in working with women in this situation. I took private Pilates classes and saw a huge difference quickly. Using someone experienced is important - you may otherwise make it worse. Unfortunately it's not the cheapest route and I was paying £50 per session.
