Hi there

I had my DD 6 months ago and my hair is still falling out. It's really thin around the hairline and also the remaining hair I have is really dull. Will is go back to normal soon? It's staring to get me really down ☹️

Thanks

Yes it will return to normal between 4-6 months was dreadful for me. Handfuls every time I showered or brushed my hair. Between 9-12 months all was back to normal.

@Newyearnewunicorn thank you so much. Did your hair go really Dull too? Not sure if that's from breastfeeding or just my hormones in general but my hair looks awful. ☹️

Take pregnacare nursing vitamins. They should get your hair and skin back to normal really quickly - my sister started taking them a day or two after the birth and didn’t suffer any major thinning. There was some hair loss sure but it grew back really fast with the vitamins - she was back to normal in 2 months.

Yes it will. I'm 7.5 months postpartum and just beginning to grow back now. It is miserable. I've had my hair cut short, it looks much better.

Yes it looked dull and horrible for ages (it’s only just looking shiny again and he’s two)
I think the exhaustion and breast feeding took it out of me. But I have got plenty of hair again and it started growing quickly when he was about 1, so I’ve had it cut a few times more than usual.
