Feeling very "raw" (sorry TMI)

Hi all.
My DD was born 2 weeks ago. I had an episiotomy but it's healed really well and no other tears/grazes.
However my labia has started to get sorer and sorer as the days go on-basically it's a raw/dry feeling.
I'm not in agony, but it is very uncomfortable. I'm still bleeding lightly and am using reusable pads-the few times I've tried disposable it made things even sorer!
Anyone else? Any idea on what can soothe it?

Put a light layer of sudocrem on when you have a pad on, and after your shower try and spend some time naked from the waist down (lying on a towel is what I find best). Try and let thing air out as much as possible. If you're only spotting slight maybe even dark knickers with no pad while you're just at home?

It might be a hormonal thing - sometimes new or breastfeeding mothers need an oestrogen cream to apply locally.

Honestly cannot say this more sincerely.

Get some distilled witch hazel from a holland and barret type store or amazon next day delivery.

Pour onto a maternity pad and stick in the freezer for an hour.

BLISS!!!

The witch hazel also promotes healing and sooths sore skin. In the meantime just use water on a maternity pad and freeze.

Make sure you are not using any scented pads, bog standard, cheap plain maternity pads are best.
