Can I have a hand hold, week old baby in hospital

I had my daughter a week ago, we've been admitted into the children's ward as she's lost 10% birth weight, she's jaundiced, hard to feed and very sleepy. They are about to put a tube in her throat to tube feed her and I cannot stop crying. I'm still recovering from my c section, I have two other kids who are struggling, my milk is still free flowing from my rock hard boulders, on top of that I've discovered that I have yet another blood clot in my leg. I just want to go home to my bed, life's so hard atm. I'm on my own as we don't have any childcare for the other kids.

It is rare to have a tube down the throat. I would ask for a NG tube. (My prem baby had one for 8 weeks and despite being born at 26 weeks came home entirely breastfed). You can breastfeed and the tube can easily be used to top up. Also they should bring a breast pump to you bedside so you can pump and the extra milk can also be put down the tube.
I know you are upset but the reality is that a baby who isn’t feeding well can go downhill very very quickly so I can see why they are worried. And they must also wonder if there are some underlying causes preventing the weight gain.

I miss my kids and my partner so much it actually hurts

Is there any way they can come to you for a while? Or you could swap with your partner for tonight, he stay with your baby and you get your leg looked at and be with your other children?

She really is in the best place; but I'm sorry this is so hard Thanks

So sorry this is so hard. We had different reasons but were in for a week after ds birth and then again in paediatric ward around 4 weeks.
Are you breast feeding, I think it's worth persevering if you are, you can express and tube feed that if necessary or keep trying the snuggles, she will lose less weight due to being next to you and cosy and your supply won't dwindle, it's worth expressing if you can (ward asked for a breast pump from maternity ward for me to borrow) as once she perks up I imagine she will be feeding like crazy. Kangaroo care is where you have the baby on you almost all the time, it was created for developing countries without incubators but has been shown to be massively effective in looking after tiny babies.
Do hope she soon is improving. Rest lots whilst you can x

It can't be me that goes home as I can't lift my toddler into her bed, or out of it for the 8 times she wakes at night.
Just had my baby weighed and she's gained weight, was hoping to get her registered today so would ideally love to be out of here.
She's bottle fed although I was expressing at home, they won't put another tube down her as she's now taking larger amounts so imo there's nothing that they are doing here that I couldn't be doing at home
