Hi! So I went to the GP a few weeks ago as I suspected I had a prolapse. I don't know if sometimes when I'm walking I can feel something "there" or whether it's just because things are a bit looser since giving birth 8 weeks ago! Anyway they checked and said everything was fine but I'm still not convinced! It's definitely not a womb prolapse as I can't see my cervix but things don't look right in there and I don't know whether I've just scared myself with repeatedly googling it or whether the dr has missed it! I don't have any other symptoms, just had my period and can keep tampons in fine! Can anyone help?

Hi I felt exactly the same. I had it checked and the drs also said it was fine. I think it's just where things have had to move/stretch for birth and it does take time to sort its self out. There is no harm in going back to the drs if it is still bothering you.

There is no harm in getting a second opinion OP.

But in the meantime, do your pelvic floor exercises religiously - and I mean several times a day.

Maybe ask them what it might be if its not a prolapse - yours I don't know, but when I went to the GP thinking I had a prolapse they sent me away puzzled (and now have my card marked as a worrier) but it carried on pressing down, and it was a large uterine fibroid. Trouble is when you are lying down for examination everything sort of rearranges and whatever is pressing down cannot be felt.

Thanks everyone! It's driving me mad I'm so worried about it it feels like the end of the world haha I'm only 24!! Hopefully it's just things going back to normal from the birth!

Does it feel heavy and get sore when walking and standing for a long time?
