Pelvic floor issues

I'll say straight away not to read this if you're not comfortable talking about things like this as I don't know how to explain what I want to ask without being graphic.

Since I had my second child I don't feel quite right down below. It's been almost 9 weeks and I wonder whether it's some sort of prolapse. Things don't feel toned at all which I know is normal after a baby but I actually feel like there's something in there, like a tampon. I'm scared to strain too much when going to the toilet as I feel like my wombs going to fall out if I push too hard! I just don't feel right at all. I can't stand the thought of going to the doctors as I don't want to be interfered with again for a while after childbirth! And I suppose I'm a bit scared if I'm honest. I just don't remember feeling like this after I had my first child.

Anyone had a prolapse and is this what it feels like?

I felt like this about 2 weeks ago (baby is 6 weeks now) but did a lot of pelvic floor exercises and it seems to have righted itself.
Have you been doing exercises? I felt exactly like I had a tampon sitting the wrong way. X

I have been doing the exercises but maybe not enough. How much were you doing?

I downloaded an app and started doing them morning and evening every day. Also started doing pelvic tilts. X

I have had very similar feelings. Baby is 6 weeks and when I'm walking about it's like I can feel something that shouldn't be there.

I'm already under physio and consultant for other problems Sad and when I saw consultant last week k mentioned the idea of a prolapse and he dismissed it saying it's too early to tell and when he examined he said he is not concerned and said no more. Just told me to do pelvic floor.

I would highly recommend seeing gp and getting referral to women's helth physio as you can get your pelvic floor exercises so wrong unless checked or taught properly. My physio said flu g the wrong can do so much damage.
This website really helped me www.pelvicfloorexercises.com.au
Woman who runs this is a specialist and the website is full of helpful articles on pelvic floor.
I would be really interested as to how your feeling now a week or do on as I'm still struggling with these feelings as have only been focusing on pelvic floor properly for just under a week!
