Caz - if you could all fit into the house then I would go for it... failing that you could always stick one or two of the kids on freecycle . Hope ds gets on ok at the show tomorrow - we had a fab time at the royal highland show.

No real news about baby Archie, some sort of infection.. possibly strep B? He took a turn for the worse yesterday but seems to have stabilised today, dp's aunt is off to the hospital tonight so hopefully more news tomorrow.

geordieminx · 24/06/2008 21:12

oooggss - you must buy this saw it yesterday in RL and it is beyond beautiful

oooggs · 24/06/2008 21:19

which one gm?

geordieminx · 24/06/2008 21:22

green one, although they do it in blue, first page. There is someone selling green on size 14 on flebay

geordieminx · 24/06/2008 21:23

flebay

StealthPolarBear · 24/06/2008 21:28

hi everyone
gm, glad Archie has stabilised, keep us updated
caz, sorry I think I've missed some of the detail but I too would go for smaller house/more time (unless the working like a lunatic for bigger house is short term...but you said people round smaller house are nicer too) or any chance of an option 3 which is somewhere between the 2?
SOL thanks for asking about T, no D&V yet, touch wood. New nursery has been responsible for one cold and cough so far, which seems very reasonable. He is eating better as well, really notcied it today and yesterday, may be a temp thing or may be the start of him gradually getting a normal appetite Seems to be cutting down on his milk thoughh The main thing for me though is that he is so happy all the time! FOr a long time when he was ill he was slightly/moderately grumpy all the time (as you would be) and we started to think that was his nature.
lexi, is yout DH still home?

lexilex · 24/06/2008 21:38

dp is at home in the bath and no going out. woohoo. xxx

oooggs · 24/06/2008 21:41

geordieminx · 24/06/2008 21:47

the pics really dont do it justice - the colour is beautiful.

Oooo I forgot my bit of news... I have a pair of Levis that I bought in NYC 5 years ago, they are the most fab jeans and were v. expensive. Havent worn them much due to fluctuating weight, they are a UK size 9. Anyways tried them on at the begining of Jan and I couldnt get them over my bum , but today, after loosing 2stone 4lb they bloody well fit!!! (slight muffin top) I was so chuffed. I actually took a pic back in Jan of me "wearing" them (or not) and one today - the difference is quite remarkable.

Eddas · 24/06/2008 22:07

sorry to miss the other posts but

pmsl at potc's crimescenes

and pmsl at your description of the jeans gm particularly (slight muffin top) the only way i don't have one of those is with huge trousers

the preschool meeting went ahead and bloody good job as loads was discussed[rolls eyes] deary me

right, should go to bed. i'm shattered and have a headache. but the headache's because i haven't drunk much today and was standing in the garden in the sun all afternoon

see you all tomorrow

cazboldy · 24/06/2008 22:21

wow gm bet that makes you feel good Well Done!
Hope the news on Archie is good..xxx

House is a bungalow....

only 2 concerns for me are where I would store clothes, and dining area is tiny.... (am also a bit peeved that i will have to leave behind my nice new kitchen )

Our bedroom would fit a double bed in with a gap of about 2 feet either side and about 4 feet at the end

the 2 other rooms are big enough for the children, but also not as large as the boys are in atm

At the moment we have 2 living rooms in an "l shape" but this one is a big square room

there are built in wardrobes here, but like I say I am worried about storage space, and wardrobes would take up a lot of space........

but they will take all of our cows, so no more renting a field and paying to feed them, and he said he would make a paddock for my ponies, so no more livery costs

Pisha · 24/06/2008 22:23

Not caught up but posting quickly while laptop seems to be behaving itself!

MJ - really glad you're home after the op, hope you're back to full health again soon

Both boys here poorly N came home from school yesterday with headache and barely moved from sofa all day today. Had slight temp and off his food but no other symptoms really. Dylan was sick after having a drink earlier then bought all his tea up and juice and even the nurofen I gave him came back up I managed to get 2ml of calpol and 2oz of water into him and hes been asleep since half 6 which is very early for him. Going to give him some more water in a bottle soon and check his temp again as it was up a bit earlier. And the dog was throwing up all yesterday mtoo although that was due to him eating a pair of socks I dont think nathan and dylan have been eating socks although I couldn't rule it out completely!!

Sat my literacy national test this morning at dd's school. Is equivalemnt to gcse grade a-c which i already have but it was free and looks good on cv so i thought why not! I think it went well

Mmms keep popping up now and getting peed off so going to go read thread now!!

Pisha · 25/06/2008 09:38

hello

crap night here. went to bed late anyway, just dropping off when dd called and she was then sick although i did manage to get her thme jug just in time! Finally asmlmemep about 1. Nath in my bed fidgeting all nimght. Then Dylan woke at half 4 and came into bed for bf and cuddles. got him asleep again at half 5m. nthan was awake the whole time and carried on talking and wriggling so i sent him downstairs to watch tv! Just dropping off when D woke up screaming and was completely inconsolable for at least an hour. Didnt want to be cuddled but didnt want not to be cuddled either and having horrid tummy spasm things. Eventually managed to get him to take some more water and calm him down. Brought him downstairds and hes eaten all N's toast aand is now playing happily! Although still quite hot and has that sickly sweet poorly smell (who was it said the other day about the smell dc have when they're ill? I know ^exactly what you mean and everyone i know thinks im weird!).
I kept n off schooml cos hme been awamkem since half 4 and was so poorly yesterday and have kept m off cos she was sick but now both of them seem completely fine, np trace of illness at all and they're driving me round the f'ing benmdmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMM!MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Bramshott · 25/06/2008 09:45

Have caught up but my brain has now emptied!!

Glad the funeral went okay Eddas.

Wow Oooggs - you should get the dress that GM linked to - you'll feel like a million dollars!

CD - a seagull !! They need to get a hawk like at Wimbledon!

Caz - that's so tricky. I must admit (going against the flow) that I think I would be tempted to stay with the bigger house and garden, especially if DS1 is feeling he doesn't have enough space as it is? Do your DH's sort of jobs ever come up with 4 bed houses?

Hi SOL Have been mad busy recently!

Hope your poorly boys are better soon Pisha.

Can't remember if I said yesterday, but O has just started walking (also a late starter!) - 7 steps maximum so far, and very wobbly!

Lexi - nice to meet you. Glad you were able to clear things up with your DH.

CaptainDippy · 25/06/2008 09:47

Oh no Pisha Not what you need, you poor thing. Hoping you are all better soon sweetie. xxxxxx

Thanks for all your sympathy about the Seagull incident - scratch is hardly visable today Poor mite. xx

Great stuff about the Levi's GM Well Done you!

PMSL @ POTCs "Crime Scenes" Hope you find the mobile!

I'm still wibbly - things not good between DH and I and I am finding "change" (coming up to summer hols, DD1 going to school in Sept) tough to cope with - also feel sick and izzy - think I am malnourished!

CaptainDippy · 25/06/2008 09:48

CaptainDippy · 25/06/2008 09:50

OOOOOH - could I ask you ladies a favour!!!!?

I'm helping run a Baby Shower tonight and I was wondering if you would be able to email me a pic of your child(ren) newborn and tell me what weight they were? I am going to have a "Guess the Weight" competition - we're also going to do a sweepstake for the weight of friend's baby too! Any other ideas!!?

Hope that is not too weird a suggestion I won't tell people who the babies are and or how I got the pics

Thank you - email is:
