What do/ did you do with baby all day?
We go to baby group once a week, occasionally meet up with other mums and babies for coffee, do playtime at home but I'm starting to run out of ideas doing this nearly 6 months now...also it's getting boring 😅 any ideas would be appreciated.

Do you only have the option of 1 baby group a week? I get out every day to various groups, usually just cheap ones in church halls. I only do one branded ‘baby sensory’ class a week, the rest are all £1-£3 for a couple of hours in a church hall with toys/singing/stories, often with tea and biscuits and other adults to chat to!

Same as above. Churches, community groups. Library rhymetimes are good, our local is so popular.

I also drive to other places for different walks, different shopping centers, change of scenery.

You could take baby swimming weekly.

Visit family.

Swings at the park were at hit from 6 months.

At the moment, garden centers are good for a wander with all the lights.

I agree with previous PP. I used to go to at least a few groups a week, usually church playgroups which were only a few quid (if that) or free ones at children's centres.

I also loved baby cinema - just cinema but you can bring your under 1.

Lots of walks. A 6 month old can probably manage a few mins in a swing in the park. Feed the ducks. Appreciate it's winter but as long as it's dry you can all wrap up warm and get out for a bit.

Play cafes great too although the ones round here have all closed down over the last few years sadly.

My DM doesnt work so used to hang around her house quite a bit too and shes always very helpful.

We do a lot of long walks (up to 2 hours ish), pointing out dogs/trees/birds. I park the pram outside a cafe and sit having a hot chocolate while he watches the world go by, sometimes elderly people come over to chat to him which is nice. We go to 2 or 3 baby groups a week, have the odd play date with a local mum with a similar age baby, and play with toys and books at home. A lot of the day is taken up weaning as he is now on 3 meals, takes ages to eat and makes a mess. Other things we do now and then are the local library, getting the train to the next town for a change of scenery, wandering round the shops or sling walks at a nearby woods.

It is pretty repetitive to be honest.

I'm back at work now part time so still do this in my day off but favourite thing take DS to the park, swings, holding going down the slide, sitting with hun on the roundabout. The feeding the ducks and at our main park we have a little animal but so there's meerkats, goats etc and a butterfly house. Then across the road to chippy for chips and curry sauce. It's our little ritual now and always make sure that we go once a week just is still. I miss mat leave!

The housework! Sit in highchair whilst you prepare dinner, go to the supermarket (mine was 15 mins walk so perfect to go daily) bit of time on playmat, cuddles
