Babes in Arms Shows!

My children are grown up now, but I am in entertainment. I was thinking back to the worst parts of having children bet 0 and 2. Largely is was the fact that we could not do the stuff we did before we had a child, music shows, comedy nights etc. I am contemplating running some live daytime music/comedy gigs specifically a for a babes in arms audience. The idea being as long as you child is 0-2 all would be welcome and the child would be on your lap. You would then be treated to either an uncensored comedy or music show.
I am not touting for business I would be interested to see whether folks would see this as a good thing.
Thanks

Bring your own baby shows are really popular in my area. We have baby cinema, baby standup, baby Bach, baby at the musicals etc.

A couple of points though;

Uncensored has to be for under 1 only and visuals do need to be censored. Stand up comedy where the words won't be understood are fine. People in bondage gear ... not so much.

Under 2s can really enjoy things like west end concerts of music events. The words again can be mildly censored. Swear words no, concepts above their head ok. Again visual need to be censored.

That makes sense, for comedy shows I would pick my acts carefully but the idea is that parents get to see something that having a baby makes tough like seeing comedy. I wouldn't sensor my acts but perhaps wouldn't booked more outrageous acts. Thanks for your response

Yeah, I think the point with censored is asking acts to not swear where there are over 1s and to consider whether a child could understand / copy / be upset by what they do. That's more relevant for the over 1s.

Also consider volume and light intensity.

The baby comedy I've been to were really good. The acts were more 'wordy' comedy rather than relying on swearing to be funny.

You also need to police the ages of babies well and make parents aware of acts and content in advance.

That makes sense, I am doing a show at Brighton Fringe and I have decide to allow under 2's in so your input is relevant thanks

I think under 2 is a random age. Most 1-2 year olds are running around same as 3-4 year olds. My 2 year old would be a nightmare, just running off everywhere.
