Anyone with a Phil & Ted's double buggy??? Help!

Not sure where to put this so have tagged it in here...

I've got a P&T's buggy. DD is 2 and LO is five months. If I use the doubles kit, does DD always have to go in the front, as the heaviest child? The leaflet says so. If so, what happens if we go to the park and she gets out to play on the swings? LO is likely to be asleep in the back. Handbook says heaviest child must always be in the front and that the doubles kit can only be used with child in front, as, I'm guessing, it might tip up with all the weight in the back.

So do I have to let DD get out and then move LO from the back seat to the front? And then move her back when DD wants to get back in.

Help!! How does everyone else do this?

It depends on the weigh of your younger one
I have alnost tipped mine once when the heavier one was in the back

If I know that my toddler is going to be getting out then I stick the baby in the front and him in the back

weight (oops)

Actually, that's a good point. I guess if we're going straight to the park and I hang on to the pram, it won't tip if DD is at the back. She's about 28lbs, LO about 15, so a good ten pound in it, I guess.

mine are about 35 lbs and 18 lbs
it doesn't tip when parked with the heavier one in the back so long as the baby is already in the front
