Cloth nappy brain freeze

I'm having a ridiculous case of brain freeze.
I tried a cloth nappy trial
www.fill-your-pants.com/nappy-trial-packs/nappy-trial.html and my favourite were Little Lamb so I bought 40 of them (20 of each size)
littlelambnappies.com/collections/littlelamb-nappy-kits

I really can't decide what to do with the trail scheme! Of the 7 nappies, 3 were okay, 1 leaked quite easily and 3 were way too thick, but I expect as he grows it would seem less so as they are according to the website 'slim' or 'super slim', they just look ridiculous on my baby right now at 3 months old.
If I send them all back I get £100 back, or if I send some back a refund of RRP-10%
If I keep them all I save on postage (£6) and also recieve £10 store vouchers.

The average cost of the 40 nappies I bought is £6 but only because I bought in such bulk so I wouldn't be able to get them for that price normally, whereas the average cost of these is £14!
I'm glad I did the trial because it helped me sift through all the different options but please can you help this mum brain decide what to do with them now?!

Keep them. A 3mo is a very different baby to a 13mo and if the rial nappies are One Size Fits Most, your baby will be right at the bottom end of the fitting range.

Baring in mind if I keep em that's 27 nappies of each size

There’s loads of fb groups for selling on preloved cloth nappies. When you know you are done with them you could sell them on to recoup some costs?

27 nappies sounds like a lot but depending on your washing routine and drying facilities you can quickly go through them. The bamboo nappies especially take an age to dry so if you're not already in a full time routine with them, don't rule out needing that many. I have 20 nappies and am about to use my last one and will need to use at least one disposable whilst the others are in the wash or drying. Ideally I'd have about ten more. You can always sell them down the line if they still don't fit or you have too many.
