Hello, what is your experience of parenting? How does it feels really like to grow a family?
Would you be so kind to share your experience here with me?

Worry.
I was worried I couldn't get pregnant then worried I would miscarry. Then you worry you're doing everything wrong (and there's always someone to tell you you're doing it wrong, whether it's how you feed, get them to sleep, how you discipline or play or educate them etc etc). Then they grow up and move into the world and you know the world is an unforgiving place and that you brought these kids into it to have issues with friends, school,.employment, health, then there's climate change and rape culture and Brexit.and a million and one other things. It's like giving yourself an enormous open wound and rubbing salt into it every single day.

Why? Are you a journalist?

I've now got three and it still doesn't feel real. When they're will you it's stress working out who needs what are they all OK, what's the next step. Food, washing, activities on and on.

And when they're not with you there's a bit of worry. But as I'm on maternity right now I've got an endless load of chores to get through.

But overall the good always outweighs the bad.
But it is bloody exhausting

As the mother of two adult children I'd say it's the best thing in the world. These are two people who I've known for every minute of their lives - and our bond is so strong, it's a great feeling. I've lived though every possible good and bad experience with them , and they have got to the stage now where they are living successful lives and ( in some ways) taking care of their old Mum. Being a mother is the best thing I've ever done.

17 weeks in and it's the best thing I've ever done. Baby is absolutely fabulous and amazes me every single day.

Don't get me wrong, it's tough and it's tiring, but you'll never know a love like it.
