G is snoozing too. He'd usually sleep until 8.30-9am but as soon as his eyes opened at 7am my bro had him up. he's shattered.

well done ellie!
Does that mean we'll have to make our own new threads soon? You should make sure we're OK before you leave in the morning, you know, iron shirt, clean kitchen, LOs to nursery, make new thread, pack lunch...

CONGRATS ELLIE!! Am very pleased for you babe!

Oooggs, really don´t be envious, it´s hideous here at the moment, honestly everyone is walking around moaning about the weather just as much as they probably are in the UK. If you can sit in the shade on the beach all day it´s probably great (or by a pool) but if you are in the middle of the island in a hot flat, it´s not quite as much fun. Noah has barely been awake all day, he´s been almost waking up for at least an hour now but just opens his eyes, looks about and then closes them again [awww]. Have taken to washing him down in the bathroom sink a couple of times a day and then lying him under the fan in the nuddy which he seems to like

No rolling over or standing or anything of the kind happening here, obviously requires FAR too much effort CD - just went to look up Zutano - how cute?! What lovely stuff.

maveta - if it's too hot for anyone else to feel like moving, why should N?

Hello all! though i'd crash and say hello seeing as i actually haven't EVER posted on the post-natal thread! ( i don't think?) I do regularly read the threads tho so glad everyones doing ok. Seemms ages ago we was all talking about "false alarms" "is this it?" kinda thing back in the day (....reminisces of the incredibly uncomfortable days of pregnancy!)

And v pleased to hear all the work talk. Tis a very sore point with me, with babies involved etc etc so will be following with a keen eye.

Translates as. Have a baby. What do you mean I have to work aswell!

Think I want your job dippy.

MN chat all day sounds great .

Not suggesting that you don't work at all of course .

Congratulations Ellie!

I also don't want to think about going back to work Pinions. But it's likely to be January and it's likely to be at least 3 days a week.

Not much advice I'm afraid Leaky.

thank you for the congratulations ladies, I am well excited

my new boss loved me , thought I was perfect for the job and his team, so much so he's being extremely flexible with my hours, he needs me to do 20 but doesn't mind too much when I do them, so long as I'm in every day. He is also paying top-whack for me, at his suggestion, so well chuffed

at the moment i'm planning to do Mon/Fri 9-2.30, tue-thur 9-12. that way I can fit in 20 hours within the nursery morning session (8-1 but 35 mins from work), and I will still only miss Joe's 12noon feed, he feeds at 7.30 so can do before we leave, and 3.30 so I will be back.
