High needs / hyperactive babies Surrey

Hi! My 6 month old baby boy is absolutely lovely and the apple of my eye but is driving me crazy. He wants attention every second of the day, I can hardly put him down for a mi ute without him whinging for me, and he is sooooooo hyper - his little legs are kick kick kicking constantly and he doesn't seem to be able to switch off and relax. I see other babies chilling out in their pram or bouncer happily staring at the leaves of their feet.... my boy is not like that at all!

I wouldn't change him for the world, but it is hard work. It doesn't help that my mum friends refer to him as 'difficult' ... he IS difficult, and veey demanding, but I don't like the negativity attached to the term, nor their condescending advice ("maybe he's hungry" ...) or the way they exchange glances when my son cries for the millionth when we're out having lunch... basically, I need new mum friends, ones who get what it's like to have a very high maintenance baby and who I can feel comfortable having playmates with.

So does anyone in Surrey have a very active 6 month old who is particularly hard work and want to meet up? Get in touch if so!

I feel like this is going to be me in a few months... We are at 2 months atm and he's already way more active than all of the other babies as he's continually on the move, looking around, kicking everywhere etc even in his sleep. We've started going to classes recently and he's much more alert and active than the others even when they're older. Was he really active inside you? I had the opposite problem to most in that he never seemed to stop moving despite an anterior placenta.

I'm also SW London/Surrey ... I'll drop you a PM so I don't out myself publicly, although you may be looking for babies closer in age to your son so no pressure.
