Yes she was his ex. They're still friends and it was her 21st b'day party. We went to visit her (I was staying with Al's parents for the first time in Guildford - she was a student at Cambridge).

We got rather drunk at dinner (playing a drinking game), DH was really sick so I took him back with someone else to guide us. Guide went back to party, DH was sick a few times then felt better and that's when we had sex...was a bit embarassing when he had to apologise for possibly annoying her housemates.

Anyone else keep thinking that by the time they've caught up with a thread there's at least one new one?

Thanks Ellie for being brave enough to start the discussion of a big meet-up, and taking the trouble to send out an email inviting suggestions. Sorry if my first post on the subject sounded a little critical, it was really just thinking aloud in a very muddled up way. Finding a place and time that doesn't exclude people who want to come seems like quite a daunting thing to do.

Might have to go and feed T in a minute (hope that wine's out of my system) and go to bed myself soon.
I've realised I'm doing quite a Gina Ford thing in feeding him before I go to bed, but he was last fed at 8.30 so if I don't I might as well just stay up
