We've got a grey Bababing one which I really like - it has compartments (but not too many), a change mat and and insulated bottle compartment (I use this for my drink bottle as we BF) and Velcro straps to attach to the pram. About £50 from John Lewis

Pacapod! We've got the backpack version as we wanted something both myself and dh could use. What I love about it is that there are several separate pods that come with the bag, inc a changing mat. When we are out and about with the pram, we just pop the pods into the basket, so we don't have to carry the backpack with us. Can buy from John Lewis!

Lekebaby backpack from amazon. A lot cheaper than others and really practical. Can fit loads in. Loads of handy sections and pockets. And how about this I ran it over with my SUV (by accident) and not only did everything inside survive the bag only got a bit dirty no rips or tears or anything.

I had a pacapod napier when ds was a baby and it was good but when the pods were full there was very little room in the rest of the bag for any of my stuff iykwim. I also sometimes struggled with keeping it on my shoulder when carrying ds in my arms/in the car seat/in the sling or carrier. I now have a skip hop backpack and I love it, the space is so much more usable and it's lovely and lightweight plus it is much easier for running around after ds, I will definitely keep this one for when we (hopefully) have number 2. It's this one www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/d6436.html

I can't offer any brand recommendations. But definitely advise on a backpack, I've got one from next after I gave up with the rubbish changing bag that came with the pram. It's so much more practical and now DD is a bit older I can wear the bag and pick her up when she is fed up of walking

Tibu and Marl have some great stylish bags and think they have a sale on in M&Ps at the minute too.

I couldn't find one I really liked that went with the pram so I ended up with a gym bag from topshop, it's trendy, waterproof and has lots of compartments. Husband doesn't mind carrying it either.

Can I just add that we stopped using the changing bag once son was 6 months. He is BF and I just didn't need that much space so using a kids backpack for the essentials, which is smaller and handier.

Pacapod Great design - will swap to backpack when DS is older.

I had a polka dot Cath Kidson with ds1 which I did love and found it easy to wipe clean etc. However I'm due dc2 now and I've misplaced it, so I purchased a plain black standard one by baby elegance today- it's lighter, will clip onto buggy instead of sliding with a long strap, DH likes how plain it it and I'm pretty sure I will breastfeed again so can get away with smaller this time, last time I wanted bottle holders etc just in case. I'm hoping I will be more confident and know not to pack everything but the kitchen sink any time we leave the house this time!

Dont spend too much as a pp said, you stop using it before you kbow it. I would definitely go for a backpack style. I got one off Amazon at 25 quid and it came with a change mat. With my previous child i had an over the shoulder one which i wish i never bothered with as it was expensive and i can get more in backpack.
