I noticed a girl noticing my boy the other day (he didn't notice her noticing him). I fixed her with an evil stare til she withered up and disappeared down a crack in the pavement.

My 8 yr old boy was born in 1997

DS1 (8) is always getting eyed up. He has skater boy dark blonde hair, is tall with amazing eyes. I can't believe girls these days though He usually attracts 10 year olds

My 8 yr old is still in the 'boys are all awful' frame of mind I think.

Mind you her face did go beetroot when a boy out of her class that apparently fancies her (wtf that sounds weird) said hello.

I didn't see it, tamum - but it gives me hope. Though, to be fair, he moaned at the weekend about his journal (the life of Buddha) but has settled down to his maths every night without too much aggravation. Lots of heavy sighing, but I can live with that - it's the weeping and "I can't do it!" that makes me want to leave the country.

Can I join? I have an 8-yr-old boy and a 6-yr-old boy who thinks he's 8. Right now, my 2 '8-yr-olds' are joyfully beating each other up in the company of another 8-r-old school friend. Chaso reigns and I am 'supervising' from the safety of my bedroom

Ulysees · 13/09/2006 16:51

my boys are 8n and 6 too. DS2 just gone 6 and he's cute as a button....for now

serenity · 13/09/2006 16:52

Well, Ds got invite to maybe one birthday partylast year. already he's been invited to two, both girls parties, neither of which are whole class invites....... I think he just compares well to the slighty more rowdy boys in his class (favourite game last year was It, where you got people either with a sliding tackle or flying kick Luckily DS had enough sense to not join in)
