Perhaps there is something I have missed VQ. I dip in and out of the thread and probably miss a lot of the goings on. It was just my observation but I'm prepared to admit I could be wrong.

fruitpastilles · 20/06/2014 15:57

Congratulations yw fab news Thanks

persepolis123 · 20/06/2014 16:05

Oh and I posted that after reading the comments from thursday which I've only just seen. Apologies if I am bringing it up after it had been resolved. I'm doing more harm than good here Blush Will shut up now.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 16:12

Don't worry perse . Yesterday was a shit day, it's still raw I think, and I am trying to forget about it, but today is a new day.

persepolis123 · 20/06/2014 16:40

My fault. I really need to keep up more.

Been so busy settling DS into nursery and trying to deal with everything. Feeling emotional today as it’s two weeks today since I started miscarrying.

ValiumQueen · 20/06/2014 16:42

No Perse please don't worry Thanks a newcomer could read yesterday's posts and think we were a proper nest of vipers.

^ line drawn Smile

ValiumQueen · 20/06/2014 16:44

Wandathewindfairy · 20/06/2014 16:53

yw brilliant news! Well done Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 20/06/2014 17:07

Has anyone read the tapeworm thread Grin?

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 17:15

Yes! I read it the other day before she went to the Dr and caught upwith the end this morning. It is unbelievably gross yet fascinating.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 17:15

And hilarious.

YellowWellies · 20/06/2014 17:19

Caught up with the end? Boom tisch! Grin

Perse Thanks the last thing you've needed from us has been us squabbling like a box of frogs (mixed metaphor?) I'm so sorry. We're all here for you love. xxx

Donnadoon · 20/06/2014 17:24

Dd doesn't speak either
Not worried much
HV un concerned, on waiting list for hearing test
She babbles and does some animal noises, and understands regular instructions...for instance, let's get our shoes, we are going out , it's bath time
But at toddler group, "let the other little girl have a turn now" Hmm

Wandathewindfairy · 20/06/2014 17:24

Ha ha ha ha ha Grin

izzybizzybuzzybees · 20/06/2014 18:00

Massive congratulations yw that's great news

Passmethecrisps · 20/06/2014 18:08

Fantastic news yw! Brilliant commitment from your new employer.

I have been worried about P's speech but really only because my mil insists that her three were composing poetry by 9 months old. She keeps saying "I CAN'T WAIT for her to start to speak" she does speak but she can't get a bliddy word in edge ways with the constant commentary mil keeps up!

Thank you for your fab fashion advice last night. Turns out that tonight is the posho night at the old course. Ah well, stripy jersey dress it is then! Being away has been good but I am proper missing p and DH now. Only been away one night!

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 18:09

Do I do a curry for tonight with my leftover roast chicken or a chicken and rice salad? DH will get home late.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 18:10

How was the wine pass ?

fruitpastilles · 20/06/2014 18:11

I'd go for a curry been as it's Friday.

Passmethecrisps · 20/06/2014 18:13

Curry for defo

The wine was ok. I liked the gooseberry and elderflower and I liked the oakleaf. I found much of it too sweet though. Nice to have a taste and it is all picked and made locally so very nice.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 18:15

Oakleaf sounds interesting.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/06/2014 18:17

I think curry too. I'll have time to prep as I doubt he'll be home before 11. It's a public hol in Lux on Monday and he'll be working then too. But fx not the full day.

Passmethecrisps · 20/06/2014 18:17

It was. Spring and autumn so a light and very soft one which was lovely and a heavier autumn one which was more like Chardonnay

YellowWellies · 20/06/2014 18:19

Silver birch wine is lush too! Pass you'll look lovely in that stripey dress.

Passmethecrisps · 20/06/2014 18:24

Oh my god! Woman in room next door just knocked on for me wearing THE most glamorous scarlet lace frock I have ever seen. I am wearing a beach towel. Oh fuck
