Have a great night out beans! Glad you feel you can share. Am pretty sure you lot have way more intimate knowledge about my various bits than anyone else.

Vag sorry being a bit self obsessed. I do really feel for you re DS1. I too think its a crappy time if yr to test. But if it sets some wheels in motion.... I also don't believe he has specific educational needs. I think if you look at what he has achieved so far. Attending school in a country that is not his first language. Bearing in mind he is now multi lingual. Awesome clever boy!!

Vagolajahooli · 13/12/2013 07:57

Thanks Jam. How's your cervix? Any softer?

Hope you had a great night out Beans with your deflated baps

Happy Birtbday to J Vag. Hope he has a lovely day.

Vagolajahooli · 13/12/2013 14:19

Omg I'm a cake scammer genius. Cake decoration has not come easy to me but I just managed to make a little movie popcorn cake out of s chocolate cake, a little icing and some caramelized popcorn I made with butter honey and golden syrup (luckily there is loads left over). It's beautiful, I can't stop looking at it. So easy and cheeky way to decorate a cake but I love it. Hope DS2 does too.

He's so chuffed to be 5. He may as well have turned 18 & qualified to vote, he feels that grown up now. This morning he was more interested in savouring the fact that he is now 5, than he was to open his presents.

Jam... Any news?

Vag, I love that attitude to being 5. V sweet!

JamInMyWellies · 13/12/2013 19:35

Am prob completely jumping the gun. But I think I might be going into labor. Had a bloody show earlier and am beginning to get a little crampy. Bet it all stops by bedtime.

RTjoke · 13/12/2013 20:28

JamInMyWellies · 13/12/2013 22:31

All stopped. Hmm

Rubes have a super fun party. What's happened with the house?

JamInMyWellies · 13/12/2013 22:33

Beans more than happy for you to have a poo for me. Fybogel not working and bum resembles a vine of grapes.

sybilfaulty · 14/12/2013 08:09

How are you this morning, Jammy? I think you are around 40w now. Hope things get moving soon.

Sorry about the house purchase, Rubes, but glad you are looking forward to the party.

Beans, your loft is huge! More photos please.

Happy birthday for J yesterday Vag. Loved your cake.

Busy day here. Drama performance, ballet exam, Christmas concert, party tonight. I have a horrid virus which is making me feel pants though. Even drinking my way out hasn't worked. What to do? Fingers crossed noone mistakes me for Rudolph with my red nose! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Have a lovely day, y'all

Nolda · 14/12/2013 09:33

So sorry about the house, Rubes. I hope the party goes well.

Nolda · 14/12/2013 09:38

DS's birthday today. He woke me up at 4.45 as he was so excited but he had to wait until 7.15 before we could face bringing his presents. We gave him a playmobil pirate ship and we have spent the last few hours putting it together. I had naively thought it would be a matter of bunging on two masts and hanging the sails on! It is fab, though and DS loves it.

Sounds like a tough day, Sybil. Lots of drugs required.

Vagolajahooli · 14/12/2013 11:01

Sybs your day is busier than ours we are at DS1's gymnastics comp now, then straight to drop DS1 at a birthday party, then a one hour break then to drop DS2 at a birthday party. Then at 4 pick no. 2 up then straight to pick no. 1 up. Then directly to the violin Christmas concert. Tomorrow we only have DS2' s party and at half time in that 4 hour affair we take ds1 to his mates party.

Eeeeeee!!!! Ds1 got a bronze medal at his gym comp. So super proud, he did so well, he is in a really hard group. The kid who came first in his section also won club champion.

We currently have two children at birthday parties woot woot. All quiet here about to have a cup of tea while watching the football and baking DS2's cake for his party tomorrow.

Jam, hope you're bearing up. the cream and suppositories I got from the doctor are called Uniroid HC. amazing stuff.

I've had some seriously shocking news today. one of my best friends was raped by a colleague last night. It's just horrific as she was raped about 15 years ago and subsequently suffered terrible anorexia and almost died. but she pulled herself back, retrained and landed her dream job through sheer hard work and then got married in June. She is the kindest person I know and this is so cruel when she was FINALLY happy. I can't bear it. Been a bit of a weepy afternoon. just feel so unable to help her. what can I do? her husband called me to let me know. She's being forensically examined at hospital now and then police interview tomorrow. awful.

beans37 · 14/12/2013 16:10

PS sorry to be a bit of a downer on the thread.

well done DS1, Vag. Lovely news! ! He's a star, your boy xx

DeidreBarlow · 14/12/2013 17:27

Oh Beans!! Your poor friend I feel physically sick. I'm lost for words. All you can do is be there for her when she's ready.

sybilfaulty · 14/12/2013 17:30

Oh my love, I am so sorry. What a terrible thing yo happen. Weeping a little for your friend. Can you see her tomorrow? I find at awful times just being there is enough. Thinking if you and her. Huge hugs.
