This will be the thread where all brooking babies learn to self settle and sleep through the night (the real version, not that 5hr at a time thing).

Spoke to the health visitor today about pesto poogate! She said been poo is common and to keep extending the feeding lengths! Feel less of a failure 1%

that's what it is bumpie I think. at this age everything is just so interesting!! I hang a muslin over her pram so she can't see out which helps.

her night sleeps are very different to days, I guess like an adult's. she goes down awake and easily at 7, sleeps till 6/6.30 with two or more usually three wake ups. not brilliant but she goes down awake and easily after those too. I'm not convinced she wakes from hunger, but once awake she needs to feed even though I don't feed her right to sleep. bit of a mystery. I don't have the energy to not feed her at 2am at the mo, just want to get back to sleep!

keep, I am pleased I'm not the only one who feeds so I can go back to sleep!!

the past two nights Z has gone to sleep by 11, slept for 3ish hours and then wakes three times but will only feed for 10/20 MIBs till he passes out again!!! But he tops and tails the night with hour long feeds!! Not bad for 25days old!!

hi everyone this fell off my threads. am knackered as kip wouldn't settle after her night feed, normally goes back down no prob. really hoping this was a one off and not the dreaded 4 month sleep regression... she's been developing crazy fast the last couple of weeks with rolling grabbing and spinning.

how are you doing trix?

argh I'm so tired he usually sleeps really well. but he woke up lots screaming only for a few mins though and was easily resettled just by me putting my hand on his chest and rocking his Moses basket. he also wasnt having all his bottle so needed an extra feed to what he normally has. the previous night he went 8.5hrs between feeds and usually does 5/6 hrs so last night was a shock to my system.
how has s been?
where is everyone else, I hope theyre all ok.

still waking lots. last night 11 2.30 and 4.30. we used to get 5/6 hour stretch but no more. and she won't feed much in the day as top distractible. typical 4 months I understand. I'm telling myself it's cos she's so clever... Wink
