I am considering enrolling my dd2, who is 4 months old for swimming classes. Is this a good idea? Is she too young?

My DD started in September 2012, aged 4 months. There were even younger babies in the class. Never been a problem. I can recommend Waterbabies.

Thanks DrSeuss. I am looking at Aquanauts ATM but I will look in to Waterbabies. I just want to be sure that it's worthwhile and worth the money.

Do you want to buy a Splashabout nappy? £5 including postage, first size.

I looked at classes for our 15 month old (adopted so late at starting swimming). I found the classes so expensive when I feel at this stage it is about becoming confident in the water and having fun. So we go to our local leisure centre for less than £4 a lesson. The youngest babies there are 10 weeks, so 4 months certainly not too young. Enjoy!!

My DS started waterbabies at 5 months it has been amazing for him. He has so much confidence in the water. I would recommend it highly.

My DS started aquababies at 10 weeks and there were a few younger babies than him in the class. It was great, and I take him swimming out of the lessons too now (6 months) and he loves it.
