Well, I tried to post repeatedly last night, but the bloody browser kept on throwing a wobbler and so in the end I was so, so tired I just gave up.
DS again refused his dinner tonight, and just ate banana and grimace fraud. Not sure why he's doing this atm, he'll eat the above and primula sarnies, but not cooked food. Not sure if it's because he's getting a bottle (on our request) at about half four, five ish.
Those ladies who've done it before- it would appear from the badly worded guidance that you give approx 600 mls milk 6-12 months and then stop suddenly to replace with snacks, but when have you started swapping over?
Baby clothes sizes are as weird as the ones for ladies. DS is above the weight given for 9-12 months by a fair chunk, but several pairs of his dungarees and onesies are too long and/or he crawls and ends up all in the body with the legs flapping behind! Another pair fits perfectly and one flashes a load of ankle. And stuff's baggy round the middle...yeesh.
We don't bother with shoes either figgy; nursery put them on him if he goes outside, but that's been all of twice. Otherwise I truly cba and I think barefoot's meant to be better for footsie development.
Yay for Captain Greenpants and his helpful little friend
!
And love the pic Xiao, as does my DP, your DS looks like he's having so much fun.
