Not sure which thread to add this question to but here goes....

DD is 16 weeks and I am looking at tots etc to buy her to keep her entertained & educate etc.
DH & I have thought about a baby walker but have tried to talk dh out of it, mainly because I am sure I have heard stories of how they aren't the best things to try and help babies to walk. I heard that they teach them to walk on their toes and not flat on thier feet & can also teach them to walk with their feet inwards..???
Does anyone have any advice on these walkers.?? To buy or not to buy..? Thats the question !

we had a walker for ds got a mothercare one with adjustable height so hes feet could always be flat on the floor. Didnt hinder him in anyway as he was walking at 8.5mths. He was never left alone in it and not in it longer than 30mins a day at maybe 10min slots. I will use it again for db as he loved it and now as it is down for the baby ds is back in it....lol Although he is now nearly 2 it still holds the same appeal.

Thanks nemo, suppose the answer is that you need to be careful when baby is in it as the article says. Sounds like you had it worked out well. Thanks again
