I think there are probably quite a lot of people that wouldn't.

A lot of disilusioned people no longer believing in their respective parties (loss of support on all sides imho).

so - would you?

Would you in fact vote at all?

Yes I would vote the same again - we finally succeeded in ousting the very unpleasant Labour MP

mumutd · 11/05/2010 17:37

Would still be labour for me. Maybe the question should be, all those that voted Lib Dem - would what has happened over the last few days make you change your vote and if so, which way would you vote?

MarineIguana · 11/05/2010 17:52

I voted lib dem and I would revert to Labour. I'm really a labour supporter but haven't voted for them since the iraq war because I think it was wrong and I want to hear an apology. I also voted tactically this election to keep the tories out of my seat.

However the whole thing has made my labour sympathies come back stronger than ever and realise it's time to put Iraq behind me maybe.

Peabody · 11/05/2010 19:00

I voted Lib Dem because I wanted them to get in over Labour (was a marginal seat) and they did. But if there was any form of PR I would vote Green.

curiositykilledhaskittens · 11/05/2010 19:09

If there was PR and we had a candidate I would vote green. If the lib dems do a deal with the tories I would vote labour. I voted lib dem.

kerstina · 11/05/2010 19:11

Yes i would still have voted Labour .Gordon Brown is the only genuine one out of the three of them. He really has strong convictions and you could tell he really wanted to help people rather than just help the rich get richer.
So glad i did not vote for the Lib dems i would feel so betrayed.

ARbaby · 11/05/2010 19:12

I voted libdem and wish I hadn't. I would vote Labour as I have every other time.

muminlondon · 11/05/2010 19:14

If we had PR I might vote Labour and Green (not sure which order). But with first past the post would probably vote Lib Dem again.

If I lived in a Labour seat would probably vote Labour.

usualsuspect · 11/05/2010 19:17

I would vote the same..labour

AgentProvocateur · 11/05/2010 19:30

I voted LD because I have a very good MP, and I agree with their policies, but I never thought for one minute that they'd sell-out and cosy up to the Tories. So, no, I'd vote Labour tomorrow.

eloise0 · 11/05/2010 19:40

if enough people had actually voted we wouldn't have had this debacle of all the conniving labour lot time wasting and
trying to wreck the economy, good riddance
I say, they have brought our wonderful country to its knees, I hope they never get in again.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 11/05/2010 19:47

Hell yes - Lib Dem.

This is the first time ever they've actually had a chance to enact any of those policies that I agree with; why would I not want that?

DitaVonCheese · 11/05/2010 20:06

I am really torn. I am not sure why people who voted Lib Dem feel so betrayed; I admire Nick Clegg's integrity in that he always said he would go along with the wishes of the nation and negotiate with whoever had the most support, and that is what he has done, despite opposition (and probably not really wanting to himself). Yes, I'm a bit gutted that it looks as though David Spamface is going to be our next PM but on the plus side we will probably have Lib Dems in the Cabinet, which is something of a result, particularly if it means a change to the voting system next time.

On the other hand it was really close here between all three parties, but the Tories won, with Labour second, so I do wonder whether I should have voted Labour just to keep the Tories out. I have always voted Lib Dem and strongly feel that I cannot vote for a party who took us to war illegally, but better that than the Tories. Argh. Overall I'm happy that I voted as I did and would probably do the same next time.

Long sorry

Janus · 11/05/2010 20:07

Oh god no!
I have always been a labour voter but moved to an area 2 years ago with huge con majority seat. Decided if anyone here was going to swing one way then it would be lib dem so voted for them. Have to say I spent at least 10 minutes in the polling booth looking a right twat as I fought with myself!!
Oh god, what have I done! TBH though, it was still a huge con win here so I feel it's not totally down to me but I am still haunted with guilt.
I love GB (I know that's a bit sad!!) and I hope now he gets a chance to have a bit of bloody time with his family. Well done Gordon.

unfitmother · 11/05/2010 20:10

Yes, would still vote Labour.

screamingskull · 11/05/2010 20:15

would still vote labour also

ButterPie · 11/05/2010 21:57

Would still be Labour. And would do more to help this time as well.

jeffner · 11/05/2010 22:08

Would vote the same... am not a swing voter at all! Believe in the ideology of my party.

choccyp1g · 11/05/2010 22:18

Would vote Labour again, (and Green in the local elections, because there was no Labour candidate).
Have voted Lib-Dem in the past, as Labour are no-hopers in this constituency, (and also because Lib-Dems opposed Iraq war) but from here on, I would say a Lib-Dem Vote is a Tory Vote and I just couldn't stray that far from my socialist principles.

Lenni · 11/05/2010 22:18

I would also revert to labour from lib dem. I'm pretty disgusted by how Clegg has conducted himself in lastfew days. Someone described him as a harlot, too bloody right. I fear any hopes of parliamentary reform will be dashed by the Daily Mail esque media scaremongering over hung parliaments forever.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 11/05/2010 22:33

I would vote Tory again. Our local Tory MP is very good and I agree with their policies nationally.

PrincessBoo · 11/05/2010 22:35

Yep - labour again. And I'd press on harder with the pencil!

Ninjacat · 11/05/2010 22:35

I would revert to Labour from Lib Dem.

willowstar · 11/05/2010 22:45

yes I would vote labour again. I like Gordon Brown, sorry to see him go...

cheggerzplayspop · 12/05/2010 06:42

I'd still vote labour.
