hooray for youtube

watch him in all his messy haired glory

Do you think it was a deliberate decision to put him on the roof so his hair would go wild?

Just watched it again. Oh, bless Boris and his sausages! I suppose my party will be 'the bread and bits' !

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 07/05/2010 12:47

Mine is probably 'the bits'

(strokes Nick Cleggs hair)

Just realised I got Vine and Paxman mixed up

alicatte · 08/05/2010 21:54

Everybody loves Boris.

WinkyWinkola · 08/05/2010 22:00

I'd rather have Boris round for tea than Ken. And that's as a Labour voter.

Wonder who Dimbleby votes for.

alicatte · 08/05/2010 22:09

OOOH Old Dimbles, My husband was pointing out all his Freudian slips on the Election Programme. Apparently it got even worse as he got more tired - DH said he was even saying 'good' when his possibly preferred party won a seat.

WinkyWinkola · 08/05/2010 22:48

Which were they alicatte?

PiratePrincess · 08/05/2010 22:48

I really dislike Boris. He's an educated idiot.

alicatte · 08/05/2010 22:56

Dunno - I was in bed at the time.

Which do you think?

alicatte · 08/05/2010 22:58

Pirate Princess

I think you may be right but don't you just love him anyway?

PiratePrincess · 08/05/2010 23:03

Nooooooo!

alicatte · 08/05/2010 23:05

But he's just so hopeless - doesn't your heart go out to him, even a little bit?

longfingernailspaintedblue · 08/05/2010 23:08

He's not hopeless - that's the point. Look at the other Boris thread I started. He has started to dismantle Gordon Brown's PFI nightmare for the Tube - something Red Ken could never achieve.

alicatte · 08/05/2010 23:12

Oh longfingers he is hopeless in so many ways - not all of course - but despite his education and intelligence he just puts his foot in it. We all still love him though.

PiratePrincess · 08/05/2010 23:42

No alicatte. We don't.

alicatte · 08/05/2010 23:47

Oh alright then PP - quite a lot of us probably love him anyway.

longfingernailspaintedblue · 09/05/2010 01:18

I don't like obsessing about "women's issues" but you should note that Boris Johnson managed to open three rape crisis centres in London.

www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23812971-mayors-pound-375000-for-new-rape-centre.do

That is three more than Red Ken ever did.

atlantis · 09/05/2010 01:26

I love Boris, and he's great fun.

I spent three weeks in London getting him elected and Red ken ( my friends and I used to ride the tube with him every morning, nasty sour faced evil pri** )booted out.

Boris has more intelligence than half of the labour party combined and loves to play the buffoon, it disarms people and makes them think him harmless.

He'll be leader of the Conservatives one day (possibly quite soon).

alicatte · 09/05/2010 16:50

Oh do you think?! - that would be such fun. Obviously in a coalition government.

chandellina · 09/05/2010 20:49

did anyone see the news clip of him heading in to vote? and ignoring the mum bumping her pram down the stairs? can't say i was surprised.
