be daring, try lib dem

wastingaway · 06/05/2010 17:59

Ok, do you hate the Tories?

wastingaway · 06/05/2010 18:03

Can't hang about.

If you hate the Tories, but are fed up of Labour, then vote Lib Dem. (Or Green if they're standing in your constituency)

None of the other racist eejits.

Simple!

Needanewname · 06/05/2010 18:07

Mmmmm am guessing you're not a fan of the Tories wasting!!!

Trouble is I don;t like Nick Clegg - I knwo it shouldn't be about personalities but I don;t trust him - too much like Blair for my liking!

In my area we have 3 bloody votes - general election, mayor and local elections. Will probably go green for mayor but its the other 2

I'm from a Mining Community.

Needanewname · 06/05/2010 18:10

I do think we need a change but am I convinced by Cameron? Erm not really. As I've already said, not a fan of Clegg but I do think I should vote and note waste it on a party that has no chance.

I've even tried those silly quizes but the results were all to similar!

Ah that explains it!

Vote Labour then Needanewname - Gordon will bow out as soon as the election is over.

wastingaway · 06/05/2010 18:15

Oh I'm not a fan of Clegg the man, but it's not just about him.

I want electoral reform, and the more votes for the Lib Dems, the more likely we are to get it.

Pepsiginn · 06/05/2010 18:16

urgh - god i can't believe i am so ofay with this now i called him by his first name!

Needanewname · 06/05/2010 18:35

I come from a very blue background, it would take a he'll of a lot of convincing to vote labour. Trouble is I'm not convinced by any of them! That's why I'm having so much trouble deciding.

I appreciate all your comments though, keep em coming, I've got a while til my train gets in.

Voted. Our local MP will get back this time easypeasy, he stole the show on TV the other week and the other candidates haven't even bothered canvassing around here.

minipie · 06/05/2010 18:59

Personally, I'm more inclined to trust someone who chose to join the Lib Dems - they are less likely to be power hungry, since they must have known there was relatively little chance of becoming PM or Cabinet.

unfitmother · 06/05/2010 19:00

I'm from a very blue background too but my background does not make me the person I am.
I voted Labour.

SomeGuy · 06/05/2010 19:02

The Lib Dems are the most left wing, and then there are two left-of-centre parties, Labour and the Conservatives.

Not much to choose between any of them really/

Needanewname · 06/05/2010 19:09

True unfit, just I suppose the way I've always thought

I have really started to dislike the conservative party, since I realised who is in the clique of privileged/ambitious smartarses who are running it the moment.
