Just starting this so that we can all post our thoughts throughout the day.

My wish for today is that as many people as possible GO OUT AND VOTE.

I cannot vote as I have been living abroad for over 15 years so if anyone wants to vote for me, I would like to vote for Gordon Brown. Voting by MN proxy

That's also awful toccata hope to god they don't get a seat and I'm not religious!

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 01:27

DP is online chatting to people in the US, they can't believe what is going on over here either

gaelicsheep · 07/05/2010 01:27

DD sounds really tired and none of them can get the swing direction correct!

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 01:27

Gerry Adams in in West Belfast

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 01:28

This election may go on for longer then expected..

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 01:28

And of course, Sinn Fein are abstentionists, so although elected they will not take their seats.

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 01:28

Give peas a chance

InmyheadIminParliament · 07/05/2010 01:28

I'm still up... anyone got any strong coffee on the go?

lavenderbongo · 07/05/2010 01:29

I am in NZ watching this eating lunch. I am just praying that the result will not be as disappointing as I fear!

Alibabaandthe40tories · 07/05/2010 01:29

I'm still here. Just made a big pot of coffee.

DH has got the day off tommorrow so we'll stumble through the morning and then crash down for a nap when DS does after lunch.

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 01:29

inmyhead my pot i made earlier is cold, hold on a sec I'll just brew some more lol

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 01:29

Gin and coke?

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 01:29

what's even worse is that nationally they've got 2.1% of the vote so far....and quite they weren't even involved in some of the ones that have been declared....

gaelicsheep · 07/05/2010 01:30

Go David Blunkett. An honest and candid Labour politician - how rare is that?!

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 01:31

Tocca that's awful

TheFowlAndTheBallotBox · 07/05/2010 01:31

I'm still here, feeling glum. Lib breakthrough a complete myth it seems.

gaelicsheep · 07/05/2010 01:32

I wish I'd taken tomorrow off work now. But then DS would be up at 7 regardless so I guess it makes little difference. Can I stay the course I wonder?

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 01:32

UKIP also on 2% so far as well - and most of their policies are only marginally better than them

InmyheadIminParliament · 07/05/2010 01:33

Thanks Raven... and the gin and coke almost sounds tempting too. In another hour I'll be biting your hand off for some...

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 01:33

Its early still relativly speeking, will kick off at 3am I recon

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 01:33

Alistair Campbell, with a little less of the bombast we're used to from him, says: "We've lost a lot of seats, there's no doubt about that. And Kingswood was a bad result." The former Labour spin doctor says it's still too early to make firm calls, but adds: "Even I'm not going to tell you that Labour will form a majority government in the morning."

InmyheadIminParliament · 07/05/2010 01:34

Chin up Fowl, it's not over yet...

NoahAndTheWhale · 07/05/2010 01:34

Gordon Brown has at least held his seat.

makemeacupoftea · 07/05/2010 01:34

Whos he nob with the razed fist?

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 01:34

That bloke is a bit odd isn't he? The one with his fist raised!
