How not to win voters

Firstly, when you send someone a letter, put the correct postage on it. Thankfully, the post office realised that it was unsolicited election propaganda and let it through without charging me.

Secondly, spell check. Then, when you've checked your spelling, get someone else to read it and check for all those correctly spelt words that you've used incorrectly. You'd be surprised what you find.

Thirdly, I don't know how much information you get off the electoral register, but if you've seen that I'm 40 and sent me the version of the letter all about helping pensioners, you got me wrong. I'm a mother of small children.

On the other hand, it is refreshing to receive election leaflets mailed to me as opposed to my husband. I'm guessing you've appreciated that women make up more than half of all active voters, at last.

Which party is this? :O

I would like to add that if you would like to count on my support, please dont outsource you calls to India so that when the person rings me to ask me if I will be supporting your party, he cannot pronounce the name of our local candidate, and I can barely hear what he is saying.

This was our local Labour MP!

I know they're supposed to be cutting back on expenses, but not putting postage on envelopes pushes it a bit far!
