DC's NHS spiel about cancer - anything else you know about?

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 21:50

Winter bed crisis per 20 years ago is a thing of the past. NHS direct is also a win. I think Labour gets a tick there.

duckyfuzz · 15/04/2010 21:50

DC patronising and looks like he'll melt in a minute
NC doing well over all I think
GB better than I expected

PfftTheMagicDragon · 15/04/2010 21:50

yes monkey they age so quickly once in power.

can't keep up with this thread.

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 15/04/2010 21:50

'Spidermama - agree with you on the silly nuclear arguement "we can have them but no one else is allowed to".'

We don't threaten to lob our nukes at certain countries just for existing. That is why certain other countries are not allowed nukes.

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:50

Sky?! How will I watch then ?

Spidermama · 15/04/2010 21:50

That was cheap of DC using the deaths of two men for that tawdry point.

wastwinsetandpearls · 15/04/2010 21:50

I think if everyone who said " I wish the LIb DEMS could get in" actually did vote LIB DEM they probably would get in.

Sabs1981 · 15/04/2010 21:50

Thanks zisforzebra I wonder who will chair the BBC one, Dimbleby or Paxman?

muminlondon · 15/04/2010 21:50

not you MsDav!

TheFallenMadonna · 15/04/2010 21:50

I'll be interested to see whether DC changes tack with his "I met someone who..." stories next time...

dreamylady · 15/04/2010 21:51

Nick Clegg seems to live up to the impression i get of Lib Dems for actually being honest, up front, and reasonable. Less like politicians and more like non partisan policy wonks - and therefore much more trustworthy! Gordon Brown is reassuring and confident though and does seem unruffled. I know its irrelevant but David Cameron's face looks airbrushed and I'm finding it really distracting!

I'm feeling more reassured that Lib Dems OR Labour could do a good job. If only the Tories weren't in the mix.

Glad to see the Trident debate aired on National TV, thanks to the Lib Dems.

arolf · 15/04/2010 21:51

brollyflower - waiting time improvements are almost entirely down to moving of goalposts iirc. not an actual improvement in real world.

snice · 15/04/2010 21:51

this has turned out very differently from how I imagined

I expected GB to struggle with this format whilst DC came across as Mr Modern DynamicMan

Instead GB looks quite comfortable whilst DC gives the impression of a slightly desperate sixth former whose just been asked to explain why he hasn't handed his homework in on time

TheFallenMadonna · 15/04/2010 21:51

And tone down the foundation.

'Cos someone will read this for sure...

Kafka9 · 15/04/2010 21:51

Nick and I again!

APassionateWoman · 15/04/2010 21:52

Blair turned from boyish to wizened in one term, didn't he?

Sabs1981 · 15/04/2010 21:52

Sky??? It should have been on channel 4 with Jon Snow!

Spidermama · 15/04/2010 21:52

Would you let any of them shag you?

I wouldn't. Not even Clegg.

(Sorry to lower the tone but DH has been away for 3.5 weeks. )

zisforzebra · 15/04/2010 21:52

David Dimbleby hopefully. I love him. I don't know why they decided on sky rather than channel four which would have been a more obvious choice.

MorocconOil · 15/04/2010 21:52

Good for GB for not mentioning his children when discussing the NHS.
DC is smarmy and patronising towards NHS workers.

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 15/04/2010 21:52

You must be watching another programme, Kafka. Is it Outnumbered ?

MsDav · 15/04/2010 21:52

lol muminlondon, am definitely not a Dave!

PfftTheMagicDragon · 15/04/2010 21:52

cameron's on stage notes

FattipuffsandThinnifers · 15/04/2010 21:52

They shoulda had Jeremy Kyle chairing this.
