Humphrey, GB didn't bugger up the economy single handedly and I doubt the rampant, unfettered capitalism that the Tories promote would have led to any better situation. if anything, they are in even closer cahoots with big business.

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:28

Ooops just misread bobbies on the beat as boobies on the beat

PortBlacksandDweller · 15/04/2010 21:28

Blair did the Catherine Tate sketch....

This is going to turn into something isn't it? The curtains are going to open at the back and reveal big steps with sparkly women twirling batons....

jonicomelately · 15/04/2010 21:28

The GB economy is outperforming most (if not all) of the other G8 countries. If you prefer George Osborne as chancellor Humphry, that is your perogative.

Spidermama · 15/04/2010 21:28

It's a national issue Bumper because millions of jobs can be created if the right investment is made in renewables.

Jaquelinehyde · 15/04/2010 21:28

DC's magic stats being used again.

Cartoose · 15/04/2010 21:28

I agree GB is coming across badly

morningpaper · 15/04/2010 21:28

Oh yes - If he plays the Riven Card we ALL have to drink rapidly

MorocconOil · 15/04/2010 21:29

Does DC know anything? He just has privileged public schoolboy written all over him WTF does he know about the real world?

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 15/04/2010 21:29

Agree lobster, plus you need reward and incentive in the public sector as much as you do in private. For us that is the occasional glass of wine and nibbles for when we have done something particularly well.

EggyAllenPoe · 15/04/2010 21:29

Ooops just misread bobbies on the beat as boobies on the beat

funnily enough, my husband read it as that too. Great minds and all

wastwinsetandpearls · 15/04/2010 21:29

If DC is channelling the DM is he waiting for a question on Twiggy's cellulite or wrinkles?

DebiTheScot · 15/04/2010 21:29

How on Earth would they persuade enough people to go into teaching to have class sizes that small???

I thought from the way they answered the 1st few Qs without thinking first that they knew the Qs in advance but apparantly not.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 15/04/2010 21:29

spidermama, part of lib dem recession recovery plan is creating jobs in renewables etc, guess NC will mention it if topic comes up

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:29

Oh GB is speaking again

mrsbaldwin · 15/04/2010 21:29

Passionate Woman - Gordon coming onto his own on why not to withdraw money from the economy

OP posts:
Cartoose · 15/04/2010 21:29

DC repeating himself quite a bit now. yawn

McDreamy · 15/04/2010 21:29

Whoops to late Peabobody - glass is already empty!

Had DC got shares in Mothercare?

Madsometimes · 15/04/2010 21:29

I'm opening another bottle if DC mentions Bristol. My glass is empty and I am finding it hard to tough out this soberish.

UnquietDad · 15/04/2010 21:30

FEWER jobs, Gordon!

hogshead · 15/04/2010 21:30

ha ha ha boobies on the beat!!!!!

PfftTheMagicDragon · 15/04/2010 21:30

DC can't have had Botox but think he might have had spare skin taped over his to make him smoother.

What about the environment?

Jaquelinehyde · 15/04/2010 21:30

Oh here goes Clegg again, DP keeps swearing everytime he opens his mouth

BeenBeta · 15/04/2010 21:30

TBH none of them are doing it for me. This format is wrong.

A really thorough 90 minute grilling by a Sir Robin Day or Brian Waldon type would have been better.

HerHonesty · 15/04/2010 21:30

oohhh.. think brown is making a bit of comeback after a poor start. cameron beginning to look slimy. overall winner clegg but at risk of looking sanctimonious if he's not careful...
