vote for policies. gives you policies to chose from and then tells you which parties they belonged to. definitely click on the more info bit though. sometimes it reveals v.significant stuff

I got Green 50%, lib dem 25 and labour 25. just relieved I didn't uncover some deep-seated affiliation to UKIP.

I got green 75% too!! I'm definitely confused.com now lol. Great link though thanks a lot.

SuziKettles · 08/04/2010 23:06

Fascinating looking at the results of people who have used it so far.

Does it show that British politics would look very different with some sort of system of PR?

LostArtOfKeepingASecret · 08/04/2010 23:13

That's interesting. I came out with:

  • Green Party 44%
  • Labour 11%
  • Conservatives 22%
  • Lib Dems 22%

I've always voted for the Greens, though it's more of a protest vote than anything.

LOL, hatwomen. I'm relieved that UKIP didn't get a look in too!

SuziKettles · 08/04/2010 23:22

Actually, having done it I think the really fascinating thing was trying to work out whose policy was whose while answering the questions. The BNP ones were pretty obvious, but otherwise it was quite hard to tell sometimes.

BuzzingNoise · 08/04/2010 23:22

The Green party didn't even show up in my results. Oh deary me.

YourCallIsImportant · 08/04/2010 23:35

I'm shocked to find that my majority score is 43% Conservative. I've voted Labour or SNP all my life, and I wasn't sure until now what the Conservative policies were.

My lovely old Socialist dad would be turning in his grave, if he hadn't been cremated. (BTW he would find this funny)

I've heard it said that we all become more Conservative as we get older. One problem I have with the Tories is that they're all a bit too shiny, and a few of them (DC, GO) appear not to have held down a proper job before now.

It's a good questionnaire though.

GeekyGirl · 08/04/2010 23:37

I was planning to vote Labour but apparently I agree with the BNP on health

SingForJoy · 08/04/2010 23:48

I was 50% Lib dem, 25% green and 25% Labour. Seeing as Labour don't have a cat in hells chance in this constituency (I think ) I think I'll be going for the Lib Dems.

bumpybecky · 08/04/2010 23:50

I did another one of these yesterday and got over 50% green party, just did this one and am that I'm 11% UKIP and 11% BNP 44% labour

wastwinsetandpearls · 08/04/2010 23:51

OMG I am going to bed in shock

I am 40% conservative
40% Lib Dem
20% greem

I have been a labour activist since I was 18, almost stood as a councillor recently.

wastwinsetandpearls · 08/04/2010 23:54

I did say the other day that I agreed with the Tory education policy, apparantly I also support them on the environment.

SingForJoy · 08/04/2010 23:54

I did actually agree with some of (I assume) the BNP and UKIP policy statements, but they had to go and add all the racist crap. I think I live in a very racist area, I had to endure listening to several (drunk and old) blokes on the bus today pontificating on the greatness of "the British" today after one of them had the goodness to help a very very elderly asian bloke off the bus. I actually heard the statement "all British people are nice and polite, always helpful" must have been very very drunk .

wastwinsetandpearls · 08/04/2010 23:56

The UKIP and BNP policies were very easy to spot. They had one that said we will achieve this by limiting immigration.

SingForJoy · 09/04/2010 00:01

I'm strangely proud I was 0% Conservative.

wastwinsetandpearls · 09/04/2010 00:02

I was 0% conservative on the other site that someone posted on here yesterday.

purplehat · 09/04/2010 00:09

Interesting!

I came out as 75% Labour and 25% Green Party

Am voting Labour anyway...

PricklyThistle · 09/04/2010 00:12

If you are in Scotland, don't bother with this. There is no reflection at all of the devolved situation.

Also, please click on 'further policies' before you choose! I didn't and ended up 25% Tory, 75% Green (the tory came from the first question I answered when I hadn't looked at all the policies). Don't go on what appears when you first look at the issue - when you click further policies it can change your mind from what you first think!

If I lived in England I maybe would vote Green - I certainly wouldn't vote tory.

SparklyGothKat · 09/04/2010 00:26

that didn't help me
25% Conv.
25% labour
25% green party
25% lib dems

wastwinsetandpearls · 09/04/2010 00:27

You need to get off the fence sparkly.

Nemain · 09/04/2010 00:30

Well I am royally fucked up.

I got:

25% Green
25% Conservative
25% UKIP
25% Lib Dem

Go figure!! [confused}

hellzapoppin · 09/04/2010 00:31

Thanks for the link.

Dh and I just did this

I am:
Green 40%
Lab 40%
LibDem 20%

and DH was 100% Green!

He was astonished as had never really perceived himself as a 'green party person'. I told him he will have to vote for them now- and/or become a party member - tis only fair!

SparklyGothKat · 09/04/2010 00:39

I have no idea who to vote for, I thought this might give me an idea ..

(BTW I don't normally vote, this is my first time ever)

edwardcullensotherwoman · 09/04/2010 00:45

hmm interesting - I came out 50/50 Lib Dem and UKIP
never would have thought that!
