Which was giggled at in the U.S., since you do have a king.

Very nice, though, to see support across the world. The protests are said to be the largest, numerically, ever. About 8 million people.

No.

there was a large protest in London last weekend with all sorts of groups joining together to protest the hatred of the 'far right' politicians and supporters.

There is obviously a cross over, but no-one in the UK would use the term 'no kings' for this.

Separately, there are some anti-monarchy protesters about, but nothing to do with this demonstration / march.

There might be after he plays besties with Trump on his state jolly.

WhatdoIkno · 01/04/2026 01:49

In countries that are constitutional or other monarchies the protests were “No Tyrants” as a mark of respect.

I always enjoy reading your thread starters but this one is bizarrely USA-centric. Not everything in the world is about America specifically.

There was a rally/march last week where goons like Dave Zack Polanski danced on a stage with a man in bondage gear to squeals of delight from an audience of rainbow haired, nose pierced, whats-your-pronoun crowd.

These people are worried about having closed borders, Gaza and an incoming Reform government. I suppose one or two may have shouted not my king - maybe at Dave Zack. Not sure.

But don't think it's happened in the UK, but you can giggle at the above.

I can't imagine anything less jolly than having to sit down with the idiot Trump and eat McDonalds before shitting through a gold bog.

If only the king agreed. Maybe they will discuss how to hide the Epstein files again..

Giggling at supporters and those in solidarity?

Maybe add ‘less insularity’ to your philosophy

Usernamenotfound1 · 01/04/2026 10:52

Yes because any protest anywhere in the world has to be related to US issues 🙄

anyway “King” in the US context relates to an absolute monarch with unrestricted power- if you know what the “no kings” protests are about it’s against Trump and his seeming ability to make decisions by himself with no democratic process.

yes we do have a King but he is publically politically neutral and cannot make any decision or influence the UK government.

so maybe stop giggling at other countries and start worrying about your own “King”, who appears to be setting himself up as an absolute ruler. At least we still have a democracy.

I bet Charles would much rather be home in his garden drinking tea.

Other countries really aren't supporting your shit show and voter regret.

That's a good name. Perhaps in America they thought people are too stupid to deal with the word "tyrant."

Thank you for the implicit compliment. I've mostly been cautious for exactly that reason, but there does seem to be a lot of interest in Trump, and god knows he's infecting the rest of the world.
